      GIATA MultiCodes is our commercial hotel mapping solution that assigns a unique GIATA-ID to each property. It consolidates numerous supplier codes into a single, accurate identifier, crucial for travel platforms, OTAs, and tour operators.

      GIATA MultiCodes is the foundation for deduplication across the travel industry. By linking duplicate property records from thousands of sources into one unique GIATA ID, MultiCodes ensures that OTAs, bedbanks, tour operators and other distributors can merge inventory cleanly and reliably. This allows them to:

        Each property is represented by a unique data profile, including geolocation, images, and features, so it's swiftly and correctly identified in future mappings.

      Introducing the MultiCodes Utility

      The MultiCodes Utility is a recent addition that provides the same high-quality mapping data as the API, but with a user-friendly, web-based interface.

      Integration via API

      For technical workflows, MultiCodes supports a full REST API offering:

      • Bulk access to full property datasets

      • Incremental updates using changedSince endpoints

      • Rich data per property, including contact info, supplier codes, geocodes, group affiliations, and references to MHG content where applicable

      This API is available in XML format, with daily updates recommended to capture changes.
