Will GIATA distribute the content automatically to the Tour Operators?

Yes, GIATA automatically pushes your content to around 45 Tour Operators or TOs (as of June 2023).

After the content is in the Open Content Link, GIATA needs between 24-48h to show your images on their catalogs, and in some cases, also their direct websites, without any manual involvement on either side.

GIATA also pushes in some cases the hygiene facts and makes the rest of the facts available for the TOs to use when writing their descriptions. GIATA is in charge of standardizing the facts and descriptions of the TOs, and then sending them to the CRS, the Computer Reservation Systems, which are the platforms used by the 11.500 travel agencies present in the DACH region for the retrieval of accommodation content and bookings.

For the TOs that are not connected via "Push" as of yet (an additional 100 TOs), GIATA makes the content available to them, and they decide what content to update. For this reason, the GIATA team recommends keeping a rich and attractive Open Content Link of the properties.

After making content updates on the platform, we recommend reaching out to the TOs where,  on the Tour Operators tab in DRIVE, the "Push" symbol is not appearing, in order to let them know that they need to pull the updated content from GIATA.

This tab permits easily identifying which TO catalogs have fewer (and potentially outdated) images by displaying the number of images per catalog on the column right after the hotel name.
