      GDSs and Switches:

      Amadeus:

      • Min image size 200 pixels
      • Update frequency: daily
      • Images live: within 24 hours

      DHISCO:

      • Min image size: accept all
      • Update frequency: daily

      Sabre:

      • Min image size: accept all but prefers at least 800 x 800 pixels
      • Update frequency: daily
      • images live: within 24 - 48 hours
      • max images displayed: 99 images

      Travelport:

      • Min image size: accept all but prefers at least 300 pixels
      • update frequency: daily

      OTAs

      AAA:

      • Min image size: not applicable
      • update frequency: bi-weekly
      • images live: within 3 weeks
      • max images displayed: 25 images

      NTM:

      • Min image size: not applicable
      • update frequency: weekly
      • images live: by Thursday following week
      • max images displayed: 18 images
      • remark: different categories, selected randomly

      Agoda:

      • Min image size: 800 x 600 pixels
      • update frequency: bi-weekly
      • images live: 2+ weeks

      Kayak:

      • min image size: 640 pixels
      • update frequency: Monday and Thursday
      • images live: by Thursday following week
      • max images displayed: 35 images

      Priceline:

      • min image size: 800 pixels
      • update frequency: weekly
      • images live: by end of the following week

      • remark: Priceline is a part of the Booking.com holding and sources often from Booking.com or Agoda

      Booking.com:

      • min image size: 300 pixels
      • min size for a good score: 2,048 pixels
      • update frequency: within minutes
      • images live: within minutes
      • max images displayed: 45 images

      Expedia, Hotels.com, Travelocity, Orbitz:

      • min image size: 1,000 pixels
      • min image size for a good score: 2,880 pixels
      • update frequency: twice daily
      • images live: within one day
      • min image count: 20 images
      • room type images: min 4 images for every active room type, one must be a bathroom shot

      • deduplication: Expedia deduplicates images automatically if they are near duplicates, the duplicates get deactivated by Expedia

      • remarks: hotels can overwrite changes made automatically within Expedia's extranet (EPC)

      TripAdvisor:

      • min image size for a good score: 2,880 pixels
      • update frequency: daily
      • images live: within 24 - 48 hours

      • remark: TripAdvisor accepts images from multiple sources, including hotel/guest manually loaded pictures

      General:

      Some OTAs display multiple sources, ICE Portal-provided content should appear first.

      Some OTAs do not keep the same image order as they appear in IcePortal, including the selection of the primary image.

      Due to rebranding or in a case of a new onboarding, it may take longer to process image updates. The OTA is in full control of the listing name and source and they update the listing information on their schedule, the update of images usually follows.
