How is Google using content from GIATA?

Google is one of GIATA's partners, and, as such, all of the properties' master data, images, facts, and descriptions are made available to them:

Images: The source of the images in Google can be seen without a Google My Business account by searching for the desired property in Google Maps.

Google's algorithm uses several sources for its images. It will usually display a mix of the photos uploaded by the hotelier on Google My Business, GIATA, and sometimes, some other source like Hotelbeds, and plenty of images, usually at the bottom, from individual guests of the hotel. Therefore, having a GIATA DRIVE license will maximize the number of images that a hotelier has control over in Google, an absolutely desirable outcome.

Descriptions: Google is using GIATA hotel content in the official Google result
descriptions, currently, in the following languages: Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Swedish, Turkish.

Hotel ratings: usually have GIATA as the source. All rating changes made in GIATA will take around 2 weeks to become visible on Google.

Note that Google changes the search results depending on the language, the location, and even the user - therefore there is no precise an a universal way to know how this will display worldwide.
